DRIVE Automotive Graduate Program May 2018

Description
Our graduate program takes twenty-four months and splits in 3 assignments each 8 months long. In the first and the last assignment you are located in Germany and in the second one you will gain an experience at one of our international sites. The location depends on the trainee position focus and the respective business unit facility. You will support your division by creating smart solutions for the future. Your initiative will determine the amount of your responsibility in the projects.

Product Design Engineer for Human Machine Interface
During the Program you will get a global insight in the division Interior, Business unit Instrumentation & Driver HMI.

Your program tasks are:
> Developing technical concepts concerning new solutions for Cockpit Instrumentation Security Architecture
> HMI (Human Machine Interface) innovation management: product design and usability
> Cross product integration: focus of sensor systems

Requirements
If you wish to join the race from 01.05.2018, you should have the following capabilities, experiences and skills:
> Excellent technical university grades in the following major fields of study: Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science / Software Development, Mechatronics
> Good knowledge of product design methods: Photoshop, ADOBE, Creator, Cinemax CD
> Knowledge of automotive quality standards: ISO, SPICE, FMEA
> Internship and / or thesis writing in the automotive industry
> International experience – living, study or internship abroad
> Fluent English and very good German skills (written and spoken); other language skills desirable
> Fascinated by innovations in automotive technologies
> Creativity with ability to think out of the box
> Team player and very good communication skills
> Formula Student Team experience welcome
